Appliance Installation and Replacement

Ice Makers: If it’s a new installation and you don’t already have one, you have a choice to make because there are two different types of ice makers. There is a gravity drain which dumps into a drain on the floor (which means you have to have all the plumbing under the floor), or there is the kind with a pump in it. That pump takes the draining water through the cabinets, and pumps it into the drain on the kitchen sink. If your home has had an ice maker in the past, then it has one of these kinds of systems already installed, in which case you want to continue to use that system rather than switching.

Garbage Disposals: Garbage disposals are sealed units. If they start leaking, there’s nothing you can do. You have to replace them. Garbage disposals are not a repairable item. The only thing you can repair is if it gets jammed and you can get it unjammed. Other than that, if it starts leaking or there is any other issues with it, it’s got to be replaced. It’s too much of a risk not to, as, since it is a sealed unit, a leak could cause an electrical fire.

Dishwashers: We can pull the old dishwasher out and install the new one with the new water supply line. If you need a new supply stop for it, we can install that too. Your normal appliance people that install dishwashers and other appliances won’t touch a bad stop. They will tell you to call a plumber to change out that stop. So, by having a plumber do it, if you have an issue, the plumber just does it all rather than having several different companies in your home in a short span of time.

Kitchen Remodeling

If you’re having your kitchen remodeled, having an experienced plumber on the job is very important. It’s common inside remodeling jobs to need plumbing moved to accommodate a new layout, new appliance, new demands, and so on, and so forth. We can show up on the job and move anything you need moved. We can uninstall appliances and then reinstall them. We can disconnect devices for cabinet upgrades, then hook everything up once the cabinets are done.

The biggest trend we see in kitchen plumbing is customers going with under mount sinks. These are cleaner and they’re a cleaner installation look. They don’t have that edge around the top that builds up nastiness.

The point is, whatever you want done, we can handle. Call us today to learn more about our kitchen plumbing services.
